Phil Sorgen is corporate vice president for the Small and Mid-market Solutions &
Partners (SMS&P) business in the United States. He assumed that role after three
and a half years as the president of Microsoft Canada.
As vice president for SMS&P, Sorgen is responsible for a team of sales,
marketing, and partner-management professionals serving Microsoft's business
customers and partner community. Sorgen and his leadership team are responsible
for ensuring that Microsoft and its ecosystem of partners deliver
technology-based business solutions to meet the needs of the 6 million small and
mid-market businesses across the United States. Sorgen also has responsibility
for the Dynamics business in the United States, as well as for the U.S.
telesales and telemarketing operation.


Eric Swift

General Manager of Product Management for SharePoint Practice
As General Manager of Product Management for SharePoint, Eric Swift is
responsible for managing customer and industry requirements, product
positioning, licensing, and marketing strategies for Microsoft’s Collaboration
Platform for the Enterprise and Internet. Swift has been with Microsoft for nine
years. Previous to his current position, he had roles as General Manager of the
Unified Communications Group and Director of Product Management in Microsoft’s
Application Platform Group.
Prior to joining Microsoft, Swift held Vice President positions at Enterprise
Application Integration and CRM software vendors where responsibilities included
product management, CRM, Data Warehouse implementations, and technical support
operations.

Chris has over 25 years experience in the healthcare industry. He has spent the last 14 years developing and implementing healthcare solutions for hospitals, reference laboratories, and other healthcare organizations. Most recently, Chris served as the New Products Development Manager for one of the top vendors in the rural healthcare market. His application development experience includes Interface Systems to Reference Laboratories and PACS vendors, Laboratory Systems, Radiology Systems, and CPOE systems.
A registered member of the American Society of Clinical Pathologists, Chris received his degree in biology and chemistry from Murray State University and his MT (ASCP) degree from the University Of Maryland School Of Medicine.

Greg is a senior architect with over 25 years of experience developing software on a wide variety of technologies from mainframe to minicomputers. His informative years as a developers were spent working for majors corporations in the manufacturing, healthcare and financial services industries. Twelve years ago, he abandoned his COBOL roots for good and has focused on the Windows platform. For the past five years, his major focus has been on SharePoint starting with SharePoint 2003, through the early betas of Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 and is now a point person for Aspect’s participation in the Microsoft’s Office 2010 Technical Acceptance Program (TAP).
Greg has architected a number of business process automation projects using all the different workflow technologies offered by SharePoint and is responsible for several frameworks application built using SharePoint. Additionally, he is an enterprise search expert, helping companies make the most of the search features of SharePoint.
